Cartography of the Urban Agglomerations of Andalusia
Thematic mapping of urban agglomerations in Andalusia that enables the dissemination of their unitary images. The physical and territorial structure of the metropolitan environment is represented: urban spaces, infrastructures, land uses, unique buildings ...
As a cartography of areas of great dynamism and intense occupation, it serves as a reference for studies, plans and urban, environmental, road, infrastructure, etc. projects corresponding to public and private initiatives.
The series is made up of 10 maps at different scales: Seville (E65000, year 2015), Seville (E30000, year 2015), Bahía de Cádiz-Jerez de la Frontera (E30000, year 2012), Bahía de Algeciras (E30000, year 2009) ), Córdoba (E30000, year 2009), Granada (E30000, year 2009), Jaén (E30000, year 2009), Almería (E30000, year 2008), Huelva (E30000, year 2008) and Málaga (E35000, year 2008).

Cartography is an instrument of analysis and geographic information that contributes to the knowledge and interpretation of the territory. That is why it is considered appropriate to have a cartography of the metropolitan areas of the Regional Centers and their Area of influence, which disseminates the global image of them, with a descriptive, physiographic and toponymic content.

It is obtained by photogrammetric restitution of panchromatic flights and color at scales between 1: 10,000, 1: 18,000 and 1: 20,000. On paper it is presented in 520 sheets in Din-A1 format. It has been scanned from color originals with a resolution of 300 dpi, archiving in color Tiff format with PackBits compression.
Once scanned, it has been georeferenced taking as control points the four corners of each sheet in the ED-50 reference system, in UTM projection for the entire Andalusian region.
Subsequently it has also been generated in ETR89 following the guidelines of Royal Decree 1071/2007, of July 27, 2007, which regulates the official reference Geodetic System in Spain https://www.boe.es/eli/es/rd/2007/07/27/1071
